Even though it is an open-type holster, the mechanism wont let the gun fire accidentally when placed in the holster.Another safety mechanism comes on the release lever. Painted in a very nice looking red color, it only allows you to release your gun only when the lever safety is depressed at the same time. If the safety is not depressed, the lever will not move and allow accidental releases. An adjustable angle design has also been added to the backside of the holster, which can be combined with the other CTM adapters for Molle and Safariland systems. The screw holes align so you can always mix and match with your favorite style.Lastly, the mechanism will reset itself once you re-insert your gun, giving you the indication of a properly secured gun and safe operation.
