VFC M249 GBBR LMG

Vorsk/VFC M249 Gas Blowback LMG BlackStep into the support gunner role with unmatched mechanical realism and hard-hitting gas recoil. The VFC M249 GBBR is the worlds first production green gas-powered, open-bolt gas blowback light machine gun. Ditching the whirring motors and electronic noise of legacy AEGs, this platform delivers genuine bolt cycling, realistic field stripping, and suppressive automatic fire engineered for airsofters who demand true-to-life tactical feedback.Skirmish-Ready Lightweight BuildLugging a full-steel support weapon around an all-day skirmish can drain your stamina fast. VFC solved this by crafting the receiver and main body out of CNC-machined aluminium alloy with strategic steel reinforcements. Weighing in at just under 3.9kg, less than half the weight of a real steel M249, it gives you aggressive, mobile support firepower without total operator fatigue.Innovative Split Gas & Ammo SystemUnlike standard GBBRs that combine gas and BBs in heavy, bulky magazines, the VFC M249 uses a split feed system:The Gas Reservoir: Housed inside an M4/AR-15 style magazine inserted directly into the receiver’s mag-well.The BB Supply: Uses ultra-lightweight polymer feed tray magazines holding a realistic 100-round capacity. This design reduces magazine carry weight on your rig, maximizes gas volume efficiency, and keeps your bolt cycling hard and fast.Open-Bolt Realism & Simulated Belt ShakeFeaturing authentic open-bolt operation, pulling the charging handle back locks the bolt to the rear, ready to lay down automatic fire on target. The feed tray features a simulated ammo belt shake mechanism that vibrates a dummy belt as you fire for total immersion. When it’s time for safezone maintenance, the M249 features true-to-life field stripping, including a quick-detach barrel assembly and hinged top receiver cover.Key Features:World’s First Gas Blowback LMG: Open-bolt gas blowback system for incredible recoil and firing feedback.Aluminium & Steel Construction: Rugged build quality kept ultra-lightweight (3.86kg) for maximum mobility.Independent Gas Reservoir: Uses an M4-style gas tank, leaving BB magazines lightweight and easy to carry.100-Round Feed Tray Magazine: Drops directly into the feed cover for smooth, jam-free feeding.Quick-Detach Outer Barrel: Replicates the real steel quick-barrel swap for fast maintenance and storage.Dry Fire Toggle: Built-in selector switch lets you dry-fire and cycle the bolt safely off the field.Technical Specifications Specification Details PlatformFN M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)Power SourceGreen Gas/Top GasFiring ModeFull-Auto Only w/ Working Trigger SafetyMuzzle Velocity330 350 FPS/1.2 Joules (UK Site Legal)ConstructionAluminium Alloy Receiver w/ Steel Internal ReinforcementsOverall Length910mmWeight3,860gHop-UpFully AdjustableBarrel Threading14mm Counter-Clockwise (CCW)Pro Tip: Want even more gas capacity for long suppressive bursts?
